Nedved
Guide Service is located in Kimball,
SD, arguably the premier pheasant capital of the Midwest. We own
and operate over 2,000 acres of rich habitat that has been established
for the specific purpose of providing the best possible upland hunting
in the area. All of our hunting ground is close to our facilities
which ensures short drives between hunts. The farthest field is approximately
4 miles away, while others are literally walking distance from one
another. As with all of our hunts we guarantee you will see your
limit of pheasants within adequate shooting range. With the use of
our guides and well trained dogs, a memorable experience will surely
be had by all.
The size of our hunting parties typically range anywhere from six to
twenty guns. During the majority of our hunts we will utilize walkers,
blockers, and wingmen. We will vary from this at times depending on
the particular habitat we are hunting, the size of group, and of course
the weather conditions. Understand however, the most important part
of every hunting experience is your safety.
The South Dakota pheasant season traditionally runs from the third
Saturday in October until the first Sunday in January. If you are up
for a challenge we recommend coming on a late season hunt in December.
You may experience some cold weather but the tradeoff is having the
opportunity at seeing over a 100 birds bunched up in a single field.
Regardless of when your next visit to South Dakota might be, we promise
to show you an unforgettable experience.
Simply follow the step by step instructions. Once you are finished, print a copy
of your license, sign it, and you are all set for the hunt. Remember to always
carry your license with you while hunting.
