The Lenz family
Joe and Amber Lenz began assisting with the pheasant hunting operation
at Nedved Guide Service (NGS) in the fall of 2016 and purchased the
business in 2017. Amber is the 2nd oldest of Chuck and Joyce’s
four children. The family is no stranger to pheasant hunting. Amber
grew up walking corn fields and cleaning pheasants with the rest
of her siblings and Joe has been helping since joining the family
in 1999. Joe and Amber have three children, Caden, Carter, and Lucas.
They are typical boys that enjoy every aspect the South Dakota outdoors
has to offer.
The Lenz’s are excited about continuing the rich tradition
of creating hunting experiences that are personal to the guests
that visit their lodge. Most people that go on a world class pheasant
hunt with NGS are sure to return the following year. Many hunting
groups have been coming to Kimball, SD for more than 25 years and
are treated more like family than guests to the farm. Nedved Guide
Service has been family owned and operated since the very beginning.
With the Lenz family taking over the business, it will remain that
way for many years to come, offering high quality pheasant hunts
at a very competitive rate. |

Chuck & Joyce Nedved
Chuck and Joyce started Nedved Guide Service over 30 years. Chuck has always been an avid sportsman, growing up fishing the Missouri River and hunting anything with wings, legs, or even a pulse. The guide service began by showing a few people a good time while catching limits of walleye on the river. Over the years that slowly transitioned into what you can see today on a fall visit to South Dakota for a pheasant hunt. |
